When Sarah and her father woke up and started eating breakfast, they were listening to the news where the announcer was talking about the existence of a mysterious epidemic that had spread in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. What many do not know is that this country is the source of grain and wheat that is used in producing flour and supplying it to all parts of the world.
This explains the reason for the spread of the epidemic in many countries around the world in record time, through the flour that is used in making bread and its derivatives, on which humanity depends mainly and greatly.
But how did the heroes of The Last of Us survive infection? It happened by chance, and the beginning was when Sarah intended to make pancakes for her father in the morning, but she did not find flour at home, so she retreated and made something else.
The second time was when their old neighbor gave Sarah biscuits when she went out with her father, Joel. Of course, whoever watched the series knows what happened to the neighbor because his disabled wife ate the biscuits.
Fortunately, after Sarah discovered that raisins were used instead of chocolate in making the biscuits, she refused to eat them. As for the last time, it was when Sarah asked Joel to bring him a cake when he came home after the end of the work day, but he forgot that because he was busy thinking. Thank God for the blessing of oblivion.
These events, which many may have seen without noticing during the first minutes of The Last of Us series, almost caused Sarah and Joel to get a fungal infection and turn into clickers, as happened to their neighbor who ate large amounts of biscuits.
